The Furfare is back! Join Petal and Aster as they celebrate a new name, a new city, and a magical new theme with Carolina Furfare: Medieval in the Mountains! After a close call with some nefarious networking (and some well-deserved time to rest), our intrepid Possum and Squirrel duo are going old school—way back to the Bark Ages! Dust off your armor, grab your best cloak, stock up on just a ridiculous amount of eye-liner, and quest for a weekend of furry fun and outraaaaageous accents at the Hickory Metro Convention Center, October 4-6!

Hear Ye, Hear Ye! A Special Event Notice

The tempest may have delayed our Medieval in the Mountains gathering, but CFF shall return! While our bards work to bring the Furfare back, Prince Aster and Captain Petal cordially invite you to join them on Saturday December 28, 2024 for a night of music and merriment as court DJs stream directly to your Magic Mirrors (we hear they are sometimes called ‘computers,’ but that sounds like a silly name).

While the mystical music will be free for all to enjoy, Prince Aster has decreed that – in order to support our CFF charity partner Rescue Tails Animal Sanctuary – the CFF 2024 Royal Merch Booth shall also be opened for this night only to all who register as a member of the court! Registration for this event will cost $5; all proceeds from registration and Royal Merch sales will be donated to Rescue Tails Animal Sanctuary! This will be the best opportunity for you to take home a piece of our mythic ‘Con That Didn’t Happen’ and support a noble cause at the same time!

The North Carolina Anthro Society is partnering with the ALS United in their fight to defeat ALS. Our goal is to raise $10,000 in support of their mission to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest.
