Hear Ye, Hear Ye! A Special Event Notice

The tempest may have delayed our Medieval in the Mountains gathering, but CFF shall return! While our bards work to bring the Furfare back, Prince Aster and Captain Petal cordially invite you to join them on Saturday December 28, 2024 for a night of music and merriment as court DJs stream directly to your Magic Mirrors (we hear they are sometimes called ‘computers,’ but that sounds like a silly name).

While the mystical music will be free for all to enjoy, Prince Aster has decreed that – in order to support our CFF charity partner Rescue Tails Animal Sanctuary – the CFF 2024 Royal Merch Booth shall also be opened for this night only to all who register as a member of the court! Registration for this event will cost $5; all proceeds from registration and Royal Merch sales will be donated to Rescue Tails Animal Sanctuary! This will be the best opportunity for you to take home a piece of our mythic ‘Con That Didn’t Happen’ and support a noble cause at the same time!

After a close call with some nefarious networking (and some well-deserved time to rest), our intrepid Possum and Squirrel duo are going old school—way back to the Bark Ages! Dust off your armor, grab your best cloak, stock up on just a ridiculous amount of eye-liner, and quest for a weekend of furry fun and outraaaaageous accents at the Hickory Metro Convention Center, October 4-6!

Zombie Invasion! Just in time for Halloween, join the Triad Furs at Ground Zero Tactical Laser Tag on Saturday, October 21st for a fun-filled private session at this unique tactical experience! Ground Zero brings another level of realism and fun to the time-honored sport, incorporating aspects from first-person shooter games, such as different game modes, killstreaks, multiple weapons, mystery boxes, and more. Will you survive this Halloween? We hope to see you there!

Get ready to dive into a melting main-furr-ame of digital furry mayhem. The Good News: Beloved forest ranger Aster has invented a brand new, top secret, virtual reality system! The Bad News: Aster and his team of technical experts have been transported into a crumbling virtual reality main-furr-ame. Join your possum friend Petal as she dives in to save her beloved squirrel companion. But the journey will not be easy. The Main-furr-ame is a world of diabolical competitions, presentations, and even dance competitions to prove your technical prowess. Time is short, with each passing moment, this computer generated reality is falling to pieces. Can you make it out on time?

Join us for a tour of the Animal Park at the Conservators Center followed by a group hangout on Saturday, January 28th! We’ll gather at 12:30 PM for a guided tour to see the lions, tigers, wolves, and rest of the residents of the Animal Park. Afterwards, we’ll spend time together at their picnic shelter with some snacks and games.
